Botox/Anti-Wrinkle Injections Advice
General Recommendations​
​- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding please avoid any cosmetic injections.
​- If you have had your eyebrows recently microbladed please speak to your eyebrow technician to see when they recommend you to have Botox.
- Please book your Botox appointment at least 2 weeks prior to any special occasions/events.

​5 Days Prior to Anti-Wrinkle Injections
- Please avoid any blood-thinning substances such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, St Johns Wort, Fish Oil, and Vitamin E.

​24 Hours Prior to Injections
- Avoid any alcohol before your treatment.​
​
​Post Anti-Wrinkle Instructions
- No strenuous activities or exercise for 24 hours.
- Avoid touching the treated area.
- Avoid drinking alcohol for 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid any extreme heat such as sun beds, sunbathing, sauna, and steam rooms for 72 hours.
- Avoid any facials, laser treatments, or microdermabrasion for a minimum of 10 days after treatment.
- DO NOT lie down for at least 4 hours after Botox treatment.
- DO NOT sleep flat on your face (if you can help it) for 3-4 days.
- DO remember that it can take 14 days for Botox to fully kick in.
- DO feel free to make a lot of exaggerated facial expressions after your Botox treatment.
- Avoid wearing any glasses or hats that may press against a treatment site for 6 hours afterward.​
