Dermal Filler Advice

General Recommendations

- DO NOT schedule your treatment within 3 weeks of any big event.

- Please wait for at least 2 weeks between lip injections and any dental work.

- DO NOT use any dermal fillers if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are allergic to any ingredients, or suffer from neurological disorders.

- DO tell us if you have previously suffered from any cold sores. (We can prescribe a medication to minimise the chance of a break-out)

5 Days Prior to Injections

- DO NOT consume any blood-thinning substances prior to your treatment. This includes Aspirin, Ibuprofen, St. Johns Wort, Fish Oil, and Vitamin E.

24 Hours Prior to Injections

- DO NOT drink any alcoholic beverages.

- Do start taking Arnica prior to the procedure. (This isn't required, but it does help reduce bruising)

On The Day Of Treatment

- Please try and attend the clinic without any makeup on.

- Topical anaesthetic cream will be provided on arrival but if you wish to apply your own before your appointment you're more than welcome to. You can pick up the topical cream from any pharmacy or chemist.

What To Do After Fillers

- Do use cold compresses to reduce swelling or bruising but DO NOT apply lots of pressure when using your compress against your skin.

- Avoid touching the area for at least 6 hours after the treatment.

- Avoid intense heat such as sunbathing, sun beds, saunas, and steam rooms.

- Do sleep with an extra pillow under your head for the first 24 hours.
